A discussion of types of perennial foods/flowers suited for growth in Berea and how to select a good planting site…
This event is aimed for NPP participants who would like help in selecting plants and planting sites for their property. Sarah will provide a tour of the perennial agriculture we have at the Berea Urban Farm and discuss important considerations in selecting plant varieties and sites. We hope to answer questions including: which root stock is best for you? (i.e. dwarf or semi-dwarf trees); what plants would thrive best in your soil conditions?; how many plants can you accommodate on your property?; and more!
