Adding Organic Fruits and Berries to Your Market Farm

Blake Cothron, co-owner and co-operator of Peaceful Heritage Nursery in Stanford, KY, will lead a short tour of their 3-acre operation, a highly diverse, Certified Organic orchard of rare and unusual fruits, including disease-resistant apples and pears.

Blake will offer detailed explanations of the process of planting, maintaining, training, pruning and growing a range of fruits organically, including pawpaws, berries, jujube, apples, pears, peaches and plums.
