DESCRIPTION:Are you thinking about adding blueberries to your farm? \nJoin Berea College\, the Madison Co Cooperative Extension Service\, The University of Kentucky Horticulture Department\, and the Kentucky Horticulture Council for a Blueberry Workshop on Monday\, Feb. 17 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. This workshop will help you consider key aspects of this decision\, from preparation to production techniques through profit potential and marketing your crop. We will cover the basics of: site selection\, soil sampling\, variety selection\, pest management\, marketing\, and have hands-on activities (planting and pruning). \nThis workshop is designed for those exploring the possibilities of growing blueberries for income.
