SUMMARY:Pruning & Grafting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Dr. John Strang from UK will be conducting a fruit tree pruning and grafting workshop on March 19th\, 2020. The pruning portion will take place at 2pm at the home of Doug Stephens in Strunk. (Turn onto Hwy 1470 by Bobby Duncan’s store\, left onto Murphy Ridge Rd.\, left onto Lloyd Trammel Rd.\, veer left at 90 degree turn\, destination is at the end of the gravel road. There will be signs at each turn.)\nThe grafting portion will take place at 5:30pm at the SCC-McCreary Center\, Room 153/154. Scion wood will be provided. Rootstock will be available for $1.50 each (Bud 9\, M7\, M111\, and Pear).
